Sun, Aug 6: With the long weekend in full swing, many people heading in and out of Calgary will be getting an glimpse of Calgary’s newest public art. But there is controversy over the installation at the interchange of the Trans-Canada Highway at Bowfort Road.
As Carolyn Kury de Castillo reports, first nations artists say it doesn’t represent them and that the city needs to do more to get indigenous input.
