Smoke detector may have saved Kelowna man’s life

A Kelowna man is thankful he had a working smoke detector when his home caught fire early Tuesday morning. It roused him from a deep sleep before the flames could spread too far. The fire may have been caused by a very common electrical device that might have malfunctioned.
