Sat, Jul 1: More than 6,000 people attended Canada Day celebrations at Confederation Park Saturday, which was created 50 years ago for Canada’s 100 birthday. Carolyn Kury de Castillo was there for the much anticipated opening of the time capsule buried in 1967.
