Kelowna manslaughter trial; was the fatal blow self-defence?

A Kelowna jury heard evidence Tuesday about the night a man was fatally injured by a single punch to his head. Cory Van Gilder is on trial for manslaughter. Witnesses have testified the victim was itching for a fight when he aggressively approached a crowd outside a restaurant. The testimony raises the possibility the deadly blow was self-defence.
