After meeting with the country’s finance ministers, Bill Morneau said on Monday that cannabis taxation should be kept low in order to help regulate the cannabis market. The secondary goal is to make sure the distribution is strictly controlled in order to keep the product out of the hands of those younger than the agreed upon age.
