With the one-metre law, also known as “Ellen’s Law,” in effect in New Brunswick, drivers must keep a distance from cyclists when passing them on the street. But cyclists in the province and across the Maritimes say current laws are still not enough to prevent incidents involving vehicles and cyclists.
