Edmonton author documents Canada’s immigrant history in “Passages” book

As Canadians celebrate the 150th anniversary of confederation, Edmonton-based historian and author Anne Hamre hopes to give people a fascinating glimpse into the country’s rich immigration history through her new book, “Passages.”
