West Kelowna flood-affected homeowners grateful protective dam being built

There is the outlet dam in Penticton and now a second dam is being built to hold back the waters of Okanagan Lake. Construction started Thursday morning on the temporary structure which should help protect several dozen water-logged properties in West Kelowna from further flooding.
