Experts say rising poverty levels in Nova Scotia impacting health care system

Poverty educators and researchers invited political party candidates to play a board game that puts participants in the shoes of those living in poverty. The game is used as a “knowledge transition tool” to connect people with the daily struggles many Nova Scotians face when trying to afford nutritious food while living on low-income wages.
