Contentious Kelowna development granted rezoning despite public opposition

A proposal to build three towers on the edge of Okanagan Lake in Kelowna is drawing a great deal of attention. There were so many people wanting to appear before city council, Tuesday night’s meeting didn’t wrap up until 1:00 a.m. Although the land was re-zoned the fate of the towers is still up in the air.
