Accused drug dealer’s Charter rights not violated; trial proceeds

There’s no dodging the charges for an accused Kelowna drug dealer. At the outset of his trial Monday, Sheldon Durno Harris applied for the charges to be dismissed alleging a breach of his Charter rights. Harris argued it has taken too long to bring the case to trial. But the judge has ruled in the prosecution’s favour.
