Lumber duties cause significant financial impact at Okanagan forestry company but workers unaffected

There are dire predictions of thousands of job losses because of the new softwood duties on Canadian lumber exported to the United States. But one of the Okanagan’s largest forestry companies isn’t so pessimistic. Gorman Bros. Lumber acknowledges the company will take a major financial hit. But individual employees won’t share that economic pain.
