New research shows immigrants and low-income individuals wait longer for health care

Recently published research out of Dalhousie University shows Nova Scotia is a “pro-rich” province when it comes to individuals being able to access health care. Data also shows immigrants face longer wait times in accessing publically-funded health care in Canada.
