Trans Fats Ban Linked to Fewer Heart Attacks in NYC

According to a new study from yale university there has been a large drop in hospitalizations for heart attack and stroke in u-s cities that restrict the use of trans fatty acids in restaurants.
trans fats — or partially hydrogenated oils — have been shown to increase the risk of heart disease. The food and drug administration plans a nationwide restriction on trans fatty acids in 20-18.
