In the wake of Tuesday’s barbaric chemical attack that killed dozens of people in Syria, the United Nations Security Council moved to investigate the assault. Russia, a close ally of the Syrian regime, moved to block the motion. And now, as Eric Sorensen reports, the U.S. is signalling unilateral action may be needed where multilateralism has faltered.
