Mon, Apr 3: The Violet Heart Project was started by people in the Events industry who saw firsthand the waste after a gala, wedding or funeral when it comes to floral arrangements. This not-for-profit organization picks up flowers from special events at the end of the evening, restyles and delivers them for free to hospitals, hospices and long-term care facilities in the GTA.
