Peace walk and peace rocks

If you found a small rock with a peace symbol on it in downtown Kelowna over the weekend you may have wondered how it got there. The answer is that it was placed there by a group of dedicated people promoting world peace. The group held a “peace walk” through Kelowna’s city park and the downtown core early Saturday afternoon. As they sang peace songs, they left specially painted “peace rocks” along the way.
