The United Nations is warning nearly 26,000 children risked their lives last year by attempting the perilous journey across the sea from Africa to Europe. Thousands of other child migrants are now trapped in Libya – being held in migrant detention centres, described by UNICEF as “hellholes.” Jeff Semple has their stories.
