Minister of Public Safety Ralph Goodale said the law should be examined to make sure it’s “as strong as it can be for circumstances of this kind” following the death of a Winnipeg bus driver who was fatally stabbed. Goodale said the risks of being a transit driver should also be taken into account when the suspect is sentenced.
