Islamic advocacy group says Trump’s anti-Muslim immigration plan will stigmatize Islamic community

National Executive Director Nihad Awad of the Council on American Islamic Relations held a news conference Wednesday in Washington, D.C., to comment on immigration issues and adverse effects President Donald Trump’s executive order to restrict immigration from Syria and six other Middle Eastern and African countries will have on the Islamic community.
