Penticton Mountie apologizes to mother for death of her child

A lot of tears were shed in a Penticton court room Monday, as a RCMP officer who caused the death of a young boy apologized to the child’s mother. Constable Ace Stewart pleaded guilty and was sentenced for running over the boy with his pickup truck. After-market modifications to the vehicle likely played a role in the tragedy.
