Alleged assailant and victim psychiatrist sue each other

He hasn’t yet gone to trial but a man charged with the serious assault of a Penticton doctor has admitted to the attack. The admission was made in a civil lawsuit filed by Gregory Stanley Nield against his alleged victim. Nield claims the assault was justified because he was trying to escape unlawful imprisonment. And the psychiatrist is suing Nield.
