New statistics show black people more likely to undergo check by Halifax Regional Police

Mon, Jan 9: Halifax Regional Police are digging deeper into some surprising statistics that recently came to light. They show that black people are significantly more likely to be stopped by police street checks than white people. The revelation has the Board of Police Commissioners asking questions and the police looking for answers. Global’s Natasha Pace reports.
