Tue, Jan 3: Family members have identified the Canadian victim of the New Year’s attack on a nightclub in Turkey; Alaa Al-Muhandis was a young, married mother of two from the Greater Toronto Area. Friends say she went to Jordan on a much-needed vacation, after a challenging period in her life. And as Jeff Semple reports, she decided to spend New Year’s Eve with friends in Istanbul.
