Wed, Dec 21: Barack Obama and Justin Trudeau have joined forces to ban future offshore oil and gas drilling in the Arctic and parts of the Atlantic Ocean. Obama is trying to firewall his environmental legacy against changes by incoming president Donald Trump. As Shirlee Engel reports, it’s part of a larger effort to cement as many of Obama’s policies as possible in the sunset of his presidency.
