26-year-old Nicole Carmon is being held on suspicion of felony child abuse after her 2-year-old son was found Saturday in a strip-mall parking lot suffering from hypothermia and frostbite. Carmon told police she remembers drinking shots of alcohol in the hours before leaving her son in the car. The boy’s babysitter says she knew something was wrong when Carmon asked if she could drop him off early and didn’t show up until the next morning looking for him.
