Month of Giving: Strathcona backpack program

During the month of December, Global News Morning is highlighting two dozen B.C. charities. The staff and volunteers at the Strathcona Community Centre provide healthy food and nutrition advice for children in their inner-city neighbourhood. Their backpack program is designed to help kids stay fed over the weekends, when school breakfast and lunch programs aren’t available.
