The family of Joshua Yasay, the man killed in the 2012 Danzig Street shooting, said they were happy with the life sentence his killer received Wednesday. Yasay’s father called him “the best son” and said Yasay was planning on becoming a police officer one day, while one of his sisters said the sentencing was “a huge lift” off their shoulders.
