Major Jean Leroux has worked as a search and rescue pilot for 18 years, participating in some 350 rescues. He’s worked across Canada, most recently in Gander Newfoundland, operating in some of Canada’s most treacherous conditions. Recently he was honoured with the prestigious Master’s Commendation from the Honourable Company of Air Pilots in London, England for his dedication to saving lives.
