Sydney Grammar school students have produced a crucial malaria drug ingredient in Sydney University’s chemistry lab for a fraction of the price that “pharma-bro” Martin Shkreli hiked from $13.50 to $750 in 2015. The university launched the Open Source Malaria project in 2015, following Shkreli’s notorious price increase.
