Auditor general says ad expenditures have risen; wouldn’t have approved some ads

Climate change ads, Ontario Retirement Pension Plan ads and an infrastructure ad are some of the examples of advertisements that would not have been approved, said Auditor General Bonnie Lysyk Wednesday. Lysyk cited timing and factual accuracy as examples of approving, or not approving, an ad.
