Thousands of skilled trade workers gathered at Queen’s Park in Toronto to protest possible amendments to Bill 70. They say the changes could cause the training and certification of more than 200-thousand skilled workers to lose value and allow businesses to hire cheaper, unskilled labour which could put workers’ safety at risk.
