Alberta government caps power prices at 6.8 cents per kWh

Wed, Nov 23 – The province is introducing a cap on electricity prices. In the past regulated rates have been unstable, fluctuating wildly from month to month. Provincial Affairs reporter Tom Vernon explains how Tuesday’s announcement is an effort to protect Alberta families from that market volatility.
