Sat, Nov 19: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in Lima, Peru for the first day of the APEC leaders’ summit. Trudeau is attending a meeting Saturday hosted by outgoing U.S. President Barack Obama that will focus on President-elect Donald Trump’s vow to pull the U.S. out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Experts are predicting the deal is dead, following Trump’s campaign promise and Obama’s decision to give up on pushing the pact through Congress before the end of his term. Shirlee Engel reports.
