This is day six of the transit strike in the Central Okanagan and neither side is willing to budge. In an effort to get talks restarted, striking transit workers held a protest on the pedestrian overpass near the Parkinson Rec centre in Kelowna Tuesday morning. The protest then moved to Kelowna city hall where the strikers once again demanded mayor Colin Basran get involved. The strikers also held a protest in front of premier Christy Clark’s constituency office. Kelly Hayes reports.
