Emily Epp was inspired to take on the English Channel by an Okanagan swim coach, but her original plan seemed crazy, even to herself.
But after a few years of swimming competitively, Epp feels the challenging swim is within her reach. The 16-year-old is now in training to swim the English Channel in July 2017.
Epp also has a goal of raising funds for Vancouver’s Canuck Place, where her family has spent much time while her sister undergoes treatment.
