Iraq’s special forces move into Mosul for first time in two years

Iraqi special forces have now reached the outskirts of Mosul. Iraq’s second largest city is where the so-called Islamic State first proclaimed its caliphate two years ago. Many observers now believe it’s only a matter of time before ISIS loses the city and its foothold in Iraq. But as Jeff Semple reports, more than a million civilians are caught in the middle.
