Advocates need funding for hospitalized woman facing deportation

Fri, Oct 21: A woman in custody facing deportation while recovering in Dartmouth General Hospital will stay in detention for the time being. Fliss Cramman discovered she didn’t have Canadian citizenship while serving a sentence here in Nova Scotia. Her advocates say deporting her is unfair and she should be recovering with a group that’s willing to help her. Global’s Steve Silva was at the detention review hearing and spoke with her.
