Emmanual Jal was born in the war-torn region of South Sudan. He managed to survive the life of a child solider after being rescued at the age of 12 and brought safely into Kenya. Today, he’s opened up a cafe in Toronto with a mission to help others heal through food. Susan Hay has the story in this week’s Making A Difference.
