Fri, Oct 7: After failing to get a tourism tax legislated this past spring, tourism officials in several areas across the province adopted a levy as a charge on hotel guest’s bills. As Global’s Jeremy Keefe reports many found out it isn’t just cities that can decline the charge, travelers can too.
