Wed, Oct 5: Striker Sports Bar in downtown Toronto opened its doors three weeks ago and in that short time it has become a popular spot. Striker was created on the basis of making it easy for the LGBTQ community to have a place to watch sports, to hold hands with their partner, or high five anyone they want without worrying about judgment. It’s a place where everyone is welcome and everyone knows your name. Susan Hay has the story in this week’s Making A Difference.
