Trump addresses ‘alleged tax filing’ claims; report suggests he didn’t pay taxes for 18 years

On Monday in Colorado, Republican presidential nominee discussed the “alleged tax filing” report that claimed he avoided paying his federal income taxes for nearly 18 years. Trump seemed to have justified the report claim by discussing the business landscape “failing” and “collapsing” in the 1990s. He went on to say he used the tax laws to “dig out of the real estate mess.”
