Premier Brian Pallister is asking the public to help fix Manitoba’s economy. This comes after Manitoba Hydro announced Wednesday that routing the Bipole III to the west side of the project will cost $900 million more than a shorter line on the east side. Hydro also said the project is too far along to change the route, and a total cancellation would cost $7 billion. Global’s Zahra Premji reports.
