Democratic Reform Minister Maryam Monsef’s story is a remarkable one. Born in Afghanistan she fled to Canada as a refugee in 1996. Trouble is, it turns out the story isn’t completely true. Monsef was actually born in Iran, and the discrepancy is raising questions about Cabinet’s vetting process. Vassy Kapelos reports.
