Vernon student missing on school bus route for 30 minutes

Stacey and Rick Iverson are demanding answers after their 6-year-old daughter went missing while riding the bus home from school Wednesday. Cora Iverson was making her first trip home by school bus when she missed her stop. Rick Iverson says the bus driver had her marked as dropped off but their child was still on the bus, unaccounted for. The Iverson’s were told bus drivers are not responsible for children, leaving them wondering about Vernon district protocol to protect students.
