Women taking up hunting in increasing numbers in B.C.

About nine per cent of all B.C. hunters are woman, according to stats collected through hunting licences issued. That number has been increasing by small amounts since 2000. Many families are looking for organic food sources, including game meat. They’re also looking to save money at the grocery store.
