David Bowie plaque unveiled on Berlin building the singer once called home

The mayor of Berlin unveiled a porcelain plaque on the building David Bowie called home when he lived in the city between 1976 and 1978. An honour like this normally requires a waiting period of about five years after someone dies, but the German Senate signed off on the installation of the plaque almost immediately.
