The 2016 edition of the Edmonton Folk Music Festival kicked off an annual tradition Thursday as music lovers rushed onto Gallagher Hill for the annual tarp run to capture that perfect spot to enjoy the musical performances. The festival, which has been running since 1980, runs from Thursday through Sunday. Nancy Carlson has more on Day 1.
