Drew Peterson, the former police officer who was convicted of killing his wife Kathleen Savio, was sentenced to an additional 40 years in prison for a murder-for-hire plot against the prosecutor in his wife’s case. Peterson was already serving a 38-year sentence in his wife’s murder.
