SpaceX has carried out a test launch of a Falcon 9 first stage rocket recovered from an earlier mission. The test launch at the SpaceX facility in McGregor, Texas, on Thursday, July 28, marks another milestone in the company’s goal to create a reusable space rocket. The first stage was used in May to successfully launch the JCSAT-14 communications satellite into orbit and was recovered after landing on a drone ship.
